adjust size and orientation
adjust size a simple, yet powerful plug-in for iMovie that can simultaneously crop and rotate any part of your clip, and then enlarge or shrink that part. It combines the core functionality of our plug-ins 'crop', simple rotate and 'aspect ratio', and adds a more precise size control. as usual, the plug-in comes with our host of additional features, such as independent size control for horizontal, and vertical axis, and a user-definable background color.
note:
version 3 requires Mac OS X 10.4 or newer.
what should I use it for?
use this plug-in whenever you need to adjust the size of either the whole clip, or just parts of it. the in-built ability to simultaneously crop and enlarge/shrink your selection comes in handy for a variety of applications, such as
- fix the orientation of a clip shot at 90 degrees orientation
- documentaries
- focusing on a part
- forensic / scientific work
- correcting distortions
- set-up for sub-titling

background color
this sets the color for those parts of the clip that are cropped.
rotate
rotates the image
horizontal / vertical sliders
controls the amount of enlargement / shrinkage for the contents of the area of effect
