what is it?
channel control is a general effects plug that lets you limit the amount of the three primary colors (red, green, blue) per pixel. take out all red, green, or blue. for example, removing all blue and red will yield a dark green monochrome picture.
what should i use it for?
this effect is best used to quickly generate some strange tint/lighting effects. the effect looks especially good if you use the fade-in and fade-out options.
area of effect:
define the area of the clip you want to be affected by the plug-in. all other parts of the clip remain untouched.
red, green, blue:
controls the maximum amount of red, green, and blue light per pixel. note that a pixels current red, green, or blue value isn't simply capped, but the amount is reduced proportionally (i.e. if red is at 50%, all red in all pixels within the active area is reduced by 50%).
