what is it?
this plug is the more specialized version of our general-purpose plug, "emphasis". instead of emphasizing strong colors, you now choose which color to accent by boosting or reducing it. as with all our intelligent plugs, you can tell this plug to also affect similar colors and control how similar the colors may be.
what should i use it for?
use this plug if you want to accent a certain color (or color range) or reduce the prominence of a color in your clip. use it also to create special posterize effects.
area of effect :
define the area of the clip you want to be affected by the plug-in. all other parts or the clip remain untouched.
this is the color the plug will look for to emphasize.
use this slider to broaden or limit the colors that the plug will effect. if you move the slider all the way to the right, all colors will be effected.
this controls how much emphasis a strong color will receive.
this pop-up determines how the color processor should determine emphasis.
- in ‘individual’ mode, all channels are regarded independently of each other. If a channel fulfils the ‘match’ criterium, it is emphasized.
- in combined mode, the processor is more strict, and only emphasizes those colors that (in average) meet the ‘match’ criterium.
- ‘full match’ is the strictest, and this method will only emphasize those colors w
